2014 DREAM MAJOR © GALA

On Sunday, January 26, 2014, the Pi Theta Lambda Educational Foundation, Inc. (PTLEF) sponsored the  Inaugural DREAM MAJOR © Gala at the Drury Plaza Hotel North. The keynote speaker was Mr. Harry E. Johnson, Sr. (President and CEO, Friends of the Memorial) who was instrumental in raising $120 million toward the construction of the National Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C.  The formal evening was a fundraiser benefiting the scholarship fund of the Pi Theta Lambda Educational Foundation, Inc.  The event’s proceeds supported the City of San Antonio MLK Scholarship Fund, as well as, the PTLEF’s DREAM MAJOR © Scholar, Ms. Courtney C. Roberts (a greater Bexar County high school graduate) in her pursuit of post-secondary education.
