A Creative Psalm of Humanity:
Education, Justice, and the Dignity of Work

On Saturday, January 25, 2020 the Pi Theta Lambda Educational Foundation, Inc. (PTLEF) sponsored the Seventh Annual DREAM MAJOR © Gala at the Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio-Live Oak Conference Center. The keynote speaker was Dr. Logan Hampton who was named the 10th President of Lane College on June 12, 2014, where his leadership led to increased enrollment and strengthening of the Lane College brand. The formal evening was a fundraiser benefiting the scholarship fund of the Pi Theta Lambda Educational Foundation, Inc. which consisted of a delicious three-course meal, sweetheart appreciation, inspiring speeches, and smooth jazz.

Using proceeds from the event the Foundation provided financial support to the City of San Antonio Martin Luther King, Jr. Commission MLK, Jr. Scholarship Program, donated $1,000 to Lane College as part of the Onward HBCU initiative, and awarded Six (6) Scholarships to San Antonio-area youth to pursue post-secondary education at an accredited college/university.
